The City of Fribourg, with the support of LoRo-Sport, is making sports and leisure equipment available throughout the capital of the canton of Fribourg. This initiative meets the town’s objective of encouraging movement and physical activity for all, and using urban space as a sports hall.
The first installation of 6 lockers is in Bourguillon with :
- Footballs
- Cornhole game
- Speedminton rackets and shuttlecocks
- Kubb game
- Beach tennis rackets and balls, Frisbee
- Croquet set

A station with 6 lockers has been installed in front of the Saint-Léonard sports hall, the Swiss National Basketball Centre.
The BoxUp station contains:
- Basketballs (2 lockers)

- Street rackets, balls and chalk
- Skateboard and scooter

Sainte-Agnès Sports Park

The Sainte-Agnès sports park is open to the public outside school hours. It offers a wide variety of sports facilities, including a green area with football goals, a multi-sports pitch, a sand surface, two petanque tracks, urban fitness equipment and a slackline.
To take full advantage of the sports site, a BoxUp station with 6 lockers has been installed with items that have been carefully selected:
- Basketballs
- Footballs
- Beach volleyballs
- Floorball rods and balls
- Petanque balls
- Kubb game
