What is KanJam?
In the late 1970s, in New York, a group of friends discovered the joy of throwing discs into a garbage can. Their playful game evolved into a competitive activity with teams and a point system, giving rise to KanJam, a friendly and innovative sport. This collective discipline, sharing many aspects with ball sports, quickly gained growing success, becoming intergenerational and appreciated for its inclusive nature.
How to play KanJam?
Two teams of two players compete to skillfully propel the frisbee into the containers. One player throws, and their partner, positioned near the container, guides the frisbee to land in the box. Depending on the success of the throw, the team can score from 1 to 3 points. The first team to reach exactly 21 points wins the game, unless the frisbee is thrown directly into the container, ensuring an instant victory.
