What is tennis?

To play tennis, two players or two teams of two compete on either side of a net, using rackets to hit a ball bouncing around a rectangular court. The players take turns serving, hitting the ball over the net into the opposite square. The game continues with exchanges of shots until one player or team cannot return the ball according to the rules, thus scoring a point for the opponent. The aim is to accumulate points to win the match.

How to play tennis?

The game begins with a serve, in which the player throws the ball and hits it into the opponent’s diagonal square. The aim is to return the ball to the opponent’s court before it hits the ground twice. The game continues with exchanges of shots until one player fails to return the ball correctly, awarding a point to the opponent. Winning a game involves reaching four points, starting with 15, 30, then 40, with an advantage to win the game. Winning six games constitutes a set, and winning a specific number of sets determines victory in a match.
